Visit me_HONEYBEE
This artwork allows viewers to access a short video about honeybees via remote QR Code access. It is to be shown in Brisbane Botanic Gardens as part of the temporary public art exhibition: Botanica, supported by Brisbane City Council.
The aim of this work is not only to give viewers a very intimate, one-one one viewing of bees on their hand held smart phones, but also to encourage in depth consideration of the currently endangered status of the honeybee.

Artist’s impression of the video playing on a smart phone. This shows clearly the way in which the relative size between the bees and the viewer’s hands creates a unique, intimate viewing experience.
